BURNEST NIXON

ELM CITY -- Burnest Nixon, 66, 307 S. Branch St., died Sunday at Nash General Hospital, Rocky Mount.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Perry's Temple OFWB Church, Wilson, with the Rev. Everette Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Nixon; daughter, Rhonda Nixon of Wilson; and sons, Burnest Nixon Jr. and Tony Nixon, both of Raleigh, and Gregory Tyrone of Wilson.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Friday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 726 Tarboro St., Wilson. Family will receive friends at 5510 Second Road, Wilson, and will assemble there Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are being handled by McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro.
