BILLY R. BENNETT

DUDLEY -- Billy Roy Bennett, 61, 315 Price Drive, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Cemetery near Newton Grove, with the Rev. Jimmy Swinson and Michael Pope officiating.
Born in the Dobbersville community, he was the son of the late John Henry and Lessie Jackson Bennett. His working career included farming and more recently that of a vendor/salesman at area flea markets and used goods markets.
His survivors include a son, Billy Bennett and wife, Josie, of Dudley; daughter, Wendy B. Davidson and husband, Eddie, of Mount Olive; grandchildren, E.J. Davidson, Hannah and Sarah Bennett; former wife and the mother of his children, Judy J. Peterson of Mount Olive; sisters, Sarah B. Pope of Clinton, Joyce B. Jones of Mount Olive, Gertrude B. Gregory of Newton Grove; and brothers, John Junior Bennett of Clinton, Bobby Bennett of Goldsboro, James Bennett of Mount Olive.
Family will greet friends at the cemetery at the conclusion of the service on Tuesday.
Arrangements are being handled by Tyndall Funeral Home, Mount Olive.
