DOROTHY S. BALLANCE

FREMONT -- Dorothy Sauls Ballance, 91, 204 N. Goldsboro St., died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Memorial service will be Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Fremont United Methodist Church, Fremont, with the Rev. Judy Drye officiating.
Ms. Ballance was born in Wayne County and was a member of Fremont United Methodist Church. She was a cosmologist and owner of Fremont Beauty Salon in Fremont for over 65 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda G. Smith and her husband, Rex, of Fremont; brother, Norwood Edmundson of California; three grandchildren, Charles Ballance, Christy Bogue and Rex Smith Jr.; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one great-grandchild.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 3 to 3:45 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Fremont United Methodist Church, Fremont.
