MOUNT OLIVE -- Carrie M. Moore, 80, 912 Oliver St., died Sunday at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation for Mount Olive.
She was the daughter of the late Robert Howard and Maggie B. Larkins and was a retired teacher's assistant with Wayne County Public Schools.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Mount Gilead Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry B. Faison officiating. Interment will follow in Carver Memorial Park, Mount Olive.
She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Moore of the home; one grandson; brothers and sisters, Robert E., Roy, Annette, and Filmore Larkins, all of Long Creek; Joe L. Larkins of Harrells, Celestine Larkins and Luther G. Larkins, both of New Jersey, Lee Dell Larkins and Calvin E. Larkins, both of Dudley, Claude Larkins of Arizona and Gerald T. Larkins of Sanford.
Viewing will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel. Family will be at the residence at other times.
