MOUNT OLIVE -- Ruth "Muh" Bennett Ezzell, 83, of 736 S. Breazeale Ave., died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Calypso, with Apostle Preston Grimes officiating. Burial will follow in Carver Cemetery.
She was born in Wayne County to the late Allie Pearl Bennett. She was the widow of Rellie James Ezzell.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Jean Ezzell, and a sister, Eloise Allen.
She was employed with the former Young Squire Industries.
She is survived by one daugher, Bernestine E. West of Mount Olive; two sisters, Virginia Carlton of Mount Olive and Roxie Morsey of Washington, D.C.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
Viisitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home chapel.
