Mr. Ernest Allen Hope, 67, of 207 Shadywood Drive, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Hope was born in Duplin County to the late Ernest Franklin Hope and Ethel Etheridge Hope. He was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dann Patrick and Ricky Ham officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Hope is survived by his wife, Shirley Pendergraft Hope; his daughters, Connie Ham and husband, the Rev. Ricky Ham, of S. Roxanna, Ill., and Christy Hope of Goldsboro; a son, Mark Allen Hope and wife, Angie, of Winterville; his sisters, Barbara Ann Millard of Mount Olive, Ruth Faye Fultz of Ahoskie, Bobbie Hope of Mount Olive; a brother, Jimmy Hope of Mount Olive; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, 1300 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro.
