Eloise Gooding Martin, 71, died Tuesday at Blue Ridge Healthcare in Raleigh.
Mrs. Martin was born in Wayne County to the late Ben and Sarah McFatter Gooding. She was a retired seamstress.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Ray Martin; children, Kenneth Ray Martin of the home, Ellie Marie Powell of South Carolina, Vincent Brenner of Florida, Sheila Pollock of Dudley, Kathy Malcolm of Pikeville and Marvin Pollock of Wilmington; brothers, Bobby and Jimmy Gooding, both of Goldsboro; sisters, Peggy Howard of LaGrange, Carolyn Pollock of Goldsboro, Brenda Boswell of Pikeville, Linda Strickland of Florence and Rachel Salsbergur of Texas; grandchildren, Tasha Minter, Nicole Phillips, Krystal Martin, Jacob Martin, Richard Brenner, Shena Walton, Rane Malcolm, Donna Malcolm and Sheila Hollond; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Best, Jacob Phillips, Evan Abbondanza, Haven Brenner, and Wyatt Walton.
Family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at 104 Greystone Court, Goldsboro.
