Paul Edward Mendoza, 87, of Goldsboro, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 400 Murchinson Road in Spring Lake with military honors. Evangelist David Millard Jr. will officiate.
Mr. Mendoza was born in El Paso, Texas. He was a World War II Combat veteran of the United States Air Corp.
He is survived by his son, Dennis Mendoza and his wife, Ginger, of Goldsboro; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
