Julia Amaryllis Presson Edwards, 75, died Wednesday at Forsyth Memorial Hospital, Winston-Salem. Born in Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of the late B.R. and Amaryllis Presson, and was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Edwards; brother, B. Reid Presson Jr.; sister, Cynthia Presson Foster.
Graveside services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. Jerry Jackson officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
She is survived by her children, Matt Edwards of Rocky Mount; Reid and Theresa Edwards of Advance; and Killian Edwards and Tim Evans of Gainesville, Ga.; six grandchildren, Neil, Jordan, Chase, Jonathan, Lauren, and Ethan.
