Funeral services for Altha Lewis Cox, 74, 603 Deveraux St., who died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church, 1114 S. Slocumb St., with pastor Gregory Jones officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband, James Norwood Cox of the home; daughters, Evangelist Althea Cox Watters of Southfield, Mich., and Apostle Debbie Coley of Louisburg; sons, Willie James Lewis of Largo, Md., and Norwood Cox of Mount Vernon, N.Y.; sister, Gertrude Daye of Goldsboro; brothers, Richard L., Ben E., Joe E., and John T. Lewis, all of Goldsboro; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
