EDNA R. BROADHURST

Edna Royall Broadhurst, 70, 1200 Simpson St., died Thursday. She was born in Goldsboro, was a graduate of the Dillard High School Class of 1956, and a former employee of O'Berry Center.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today at Saint Mark Church of Christ, 700 W. Ash St., with Bishop Alton Smith officiating. Burial services will follow at Old Mill Cemetery .
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Broadhurst Sr. She is survived by three sons, Alvin Broadhurst Jr. of Morrisville, Ronald Broadhurst of Raleigh, Donald Broadhurst of Ocala Fla.; mother, Elouise Royall of Goldsboro; sisters, Ruby Hudson of Goldsboro, Mattie Coley of Raleigh; brothers Velinzo Royall of Suitland Md., Bobby Royall of Washington D.C., Adolph Royall of Clinton Md.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
