Daniell R. Bates, 3 hours old, 139 S. Marion Drive, died Tuesday at Rex Hospital, Raleigh.
Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Elmwood Cemetery with Pastor Bill Wilson of The Lord's Table officiating,
He is survived by his parents, Wesley and Kimberly Knox Bates of the home; a brother, Wesley Bates III; maternal grandparents Raymond Knox of Greenville, S.C. and Evelyn Knox of Kannapolis; and paternal grandparents Wesley and Gloria Bates Sr. of Victoria, Va.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the March of Dimes.
