KENANSVILLE -- Otis Hardy, 79, 908 W. Best Road, died Tuesday at Ridgewood Manor, Washington. She was born in Duplin County to the late Clarence and Effie Holmes Newton and attended the Duplin County School System.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel, Warsaw, with the Rev. McCaffity officiating. Interment will follow in the Martin Cemetery, Warsaw.
She is survived by a son, Charlie Hardy Jr. of the home; daugther, Ella Bass of Kinston; four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel.
