STANLEY P. SMITH

PIKEVILLE -- Stanley Patrick Smith, 38, died Sunday at his home, 1132 Mount Carmel Church Road.
A Wayne County native, he was a graduate of Wayne Community College and a cum laude graduate of East Carolina University.
The family will receive friends Wednesday at Seymour Funeral Home from 2 to 3 p.m. Graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Rogers Smith. He is survived by his mother, Christine Creech Smith; sister, Elizabeth Greenstock and husband, Jay, of Raleigh; and a nephew, Ashley Speight of Pikeville.
