KENLY -- James Elmer Ballance, 82, 3939 Glendale Road, died Sunday.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Barnes Cemetery with the Rev. Curtis Jones officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Beadie Boyette Ballance; sons, James Thomas Ballance, Marvin Elmer Ballance and the Rev. Joseph Elton Ballance; sisters, Cathleen Woodard of Raleigh, Betty Jean Mercer of Kenly; brother, Glenway Ballance of Kenly; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at Coley Funeral Home.
