FOUR OAKS -- Floy Adams Thornton, 95, 4987 Harper House Road, died Saturday. She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Thornton; son, Sam Thornton Jr.; daughter, Dorothy T. Beck.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Mill Creek Christian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Anglain officiating.
She is survived by her daughters, Doris Anne Martelle and Wilma Lee Thornton, both of Raleigh.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Mill Creek Christian Church in care of Buck Dunn.
