LETHA M. STALLINGS
Died Feb. 24, 2007
Letha M. Stallings, 61, Brian Center of Goldsboro, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Faison.
Mrs. Stallings attended Wayne County Public Schools and received a business degree from Wayne Commu-nity College. She was well known throughout the area as a hat designer, called "The Hat Lady."
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church, 1114 S. Slocumb St., Goldsboro, with Apostle Albert E. Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Stallings of Goldsboro; mother, Carletha Faison of Goldsboro; sons, Pearly Demarco and Phillip Monte Stallings, both of Goldsboro, Cleveand Cody of Goldsboro; daughters, Peggy Miller and Keletha Howell, both of Goldsboro; brothers, Raymond Faison Jr. of Fredericksburg, Va., Pearly Faison of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters, Peggy Peeler of Buffalo, N.Y., Shelby Best of Goldsboro; three grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the church.
