MAGNOLIA -- Funeral services for Amos Dobson Sr., 84, 204 E.T. Dobson Lane will be 1 p.m., Saturday at First Missionary Baptist Church with pastor E.T. Coston officiating. Burial will follow in the Dobson Cemetery.
Mr. Dobson died Sun-day at Car-roll S. Rober-son Hospice Center, Fay-etteville. He was the son of the late Elijah and Narcissa Hall Dobson.
He is survived by his wife, Mavious Dobson of the home; sons, Amos Dobson Jr. of Magnolia and George Dobson of Roseboro; daughters, Mar-garet Williams of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Mavis Dobson Womble of Magnolia; brother, Thomas Dobson of Brooklyn, N.Y.; sisters, Katie Fields and Lenora Thorb of Warsaw; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel, Mount Olive.
