HOLLIS, N.Y.-- Joseph Branch, 56, 102-20 189th St., formerly of Warsaw, died Thursday at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Queens, N.Y.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Stephens Church in the Scott's Store Community. Interment will be in Scott's Store Community Cemetery. He was born in Duplin County to the late James Branch and Annie Luberta Hall.
He is survived by his adopted mother, Swannie Branch of Mount Olive; his wife, Carolyn Branch of the home; daughter, Janel Branch Devieux of Hollis, N.Y.; two sons, Al Branch of Sparta, N.J., and Josef Branch of Hollis, N.Y.; sister, Mary Barnes of Durham; three brothers, Thomas Branch of Durham, Jimmy Branch of Greensboro, and Norman Branch of Mount Olive; and one grandchild.
