DUDLEY -- Charles William Gautier, 53, 106 Carraway Creek Drive, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of Louise H. Grant of Mount Olive and the late Jesse Willard Gautier. He was a painter with Dixie Paint and Wallpaper.
Memorial service will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Dorman officiating.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Wanda A. Gautier; his son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Sara Gautier of Goldsboro; four brothers, Curtis Gautier of Benson, Tony and Jessie Gautier of New Bern and Paul Moody of Dudley; two sisters, Dorothy Whaley of New Bern and Merendy Gautier of Goldsboro; four grandchildren, Dalton Allen and Haley Rae Gautier, Emilie Madison Carter and Anthony James Lancaster.
Family members will greet friends immediately following the funeral service Wednesday and at other times will be at the home.
