TED CALOMIRIS

Plato Theodore "Ted" Calomiris, 87, died Friday morning at Kinston Rehab Center.
He was born in New York to the late Emmanuel Basilios Calomiris and Eudoxia Galatis Calomiris. He first moved from New York to the High Point area to work with his father at Columbia Coffee Co. He also worked in real estate. He was of the Greek Orthodox faith.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Floral Garden Memorial Park in High Point.
He is survived by several nieces. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Vivian Lenore K. Rich and Annie Pearl Davis; his son, Frederick Theodore Calomiris; and his brother, Byron Basil Calomiris.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
