SELMA -- Donald Ray Willoughby, 57, 1380 Lowell Mill Road, died Saturday at UNC Hospital Chapel Hill. He was preceded in death by his father, Atlas Willoughby and a brother, Charles Willoughby.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Coley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Kenly Cemetery, with the Rev. Dempsey Winstead and the Rev. Lotis Joyner officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Dail Willoughby; mother, Ella Campbell Willoughby of Kenly; sons, Donald Ray Willoughby Jr. of Selma and Randy Thomas Willoughby of Wendell; daughter, Amanda Gail Willoughby, of the home; brothers, Earl, Roy, Bill and A.G. Willoughby, all of Kenly; and sisters, Shirley Hargis of Smithfield and Margie Taylor and Rose Willoughby, both of Kenly.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at Coley Funeral Home.
