MOUNT OLIVE -- Agnes McCullen Weaver, 71, of Woodridge Circle, died Friday morning at Wayne Hospital in Goldsboro.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. today at Tyndall Funeral Chapel in Mount Olive and will be officiated by the Revs. Chris Bishop, Paul Weaver and William Weaver. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive. Mrs. Weaver was a member of the Jones' Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Mrs. Weaver is survived by two daughters, Rose W. Thurston and her husband, Mike, of Milan, Ind., and Sharon W. Hare, and her husband, James, of Mount Olive; a brother, Delma Mike McCullen of Goldsboro; six grandchildren, James Thurston of Kansas City, Mo., Donald Thurston and Stephen Thurston, both of Okeechobee, Fla., Amanda Hill and Jacob Odom, both of Mount Olive, and Jamie Hare of Clayton; and a great-grandchild, Landen Hill of Mount Olive.
Family members preceding her in death include her husband, Fred Weaver Jr.; a sister, Linda McCullen Olson; and her parents, Ralph Leslie McCullen and Estelle Thornton McCullen.
Visitation was Saturday night at the funeral home, and at other times, the family are gathering at the home of Kenneth and Shirley W. Strickland on Harrell's Hill Road, Mount Olive.
