Died Dec. 31, 2006
Tracy Flowers King, 31, 506 Quail Drive, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., 1993 graduate of Goldsboro High School and attended Miller-Motte Technical Institute and Wayne Community College. Ms. King was a former employee of O'Berry Center and Cherry Hospital as a Health Care Technician and was last employed at Carver Heights Elementary. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Bazemore.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mark Church of Christ, 700 W. Ash St., with Bishop Alton Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy King of the home; three daughters, Jani and Shamiyah Flowers and Makiyah Owens, all of the home; mother, Brenda Simon of Goldsboro; sister, Crystal Simon of Goldsboro; maternal grandparents, Pauline Flowers of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Velinzo Royall of Suitland, Md.; paternal grandparents, Goldie and Roland Bazemore of Brooklyn, N.Y.; great-grandmother, Elouise Royall of Goldsboro; seven aunts and seven uncles.
Viewing will be Thursday at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro from 2 to 6 p.m. The family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
