Barbara Moore Brady, 66, 211 Glenwood Trail, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Mrs. Brady was born in Sumter County, S.C. to the late Thomas Arthur and Carrie Elizabeth Riles Moore. She was a homemaker and also worked as a dog groomer at her home.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Scott Ezzell and the Rev. Travis Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Brady is survived by her husband, Hunter T. Brady Jr.; her daughter, Cyndi Mitchell Brady of Mount Olive; her sons, Stan Brady and wife, Beverly, of Goldsboro and Ken Brady and wife, Melanie, of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Justin, Matthew and Travis Mitchell and Blake Brady; her step-grandchildren, Kristen Taylor, Justin and Brandon Cline, and Eric and Larry Overbee; her sister, Betty Young of Sumter, S.C.; her special dear friend, Lee Farmer; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Lynn Brady; and her sister, Lillian M. Webster.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the Wayne County Animal Shelter, 900 Brick St., Goldsboro, 27530 or Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, 27534.
Pallbearers will be Justin Mitchell, Matthew Mitchell, Travis Mitchell, Blake Brady, Rusty Jackson and Eric Arbeau.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home.
