Man found shot at Alpha Arms Friday night

Goldsboro police are investigating a Friday night shooting that left a 24-year-old man injured.
A police report said officers responded to 208 Apt. B Alpha Court at about 8:55 p.m. in reference to a person being shot.
They found Ramelle Malek Lofton inside the apartment suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Officers canvassed the area and Lofton was taken to Wayne UNC Health Care for treatment.
The extent of Lofton's injuries, or where on his body he was shot, was not listed on the police report.
