Debbie Meek, Womack Electric Supply branch supervisor, organizes canned goods collected during this month's Christmas in July food drive at the East Ash Street business.
Womack Electric Supply, at 401 E. Ash St, is holding a Christmas in July food drive this month.
Donations of canned goods, non-perishable food items and paper products, including paper towels, napkins, plates, cups and plastic utensils, are being accepted at the Goldsboro business, said Debbie Meek, Womack Electric Supply branch supervisor.
"We've been doing a food drive about four years now," she said. "We found out July is a lower donation time, and the need is greater with the kids being home in the summer."
Donations can be dropped off at Womack Electric Supply through the end of the month during regular business hours, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Collected items will be donated to the Make A Difference Food Pantry.
The drive is a company-wide effort that includes participation from Womack Electric Supply's 17 branch locations.
