Two charged with possession of methamphetamine precursors

Two Goldsboro men are in the Wayne County Jail today, charged by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force with buying and selling pseudoephedrine for the purpose of manufacturing and trafficking methamphetamine.
According to a press release issued today, at least one of the men was already on parole for the same offense.
Jeremy Wayne Carlton, 26, 1114 Grantham School Road, is charged with two counts of possession and distribution of a meth precursor and one count of parole violation.
Jamie Scott Parish, 40, 802 W. Grantham St., is charged with three counts of possession and distribution of a meth precursor.
He was arrested Jan. 29 during the course of an ongoing investigation, the release said.
Both Carlton and Parish were placed in the Wayne County Jail under $25,000 secured bonds.
Carlton, arrested Thursday, is being held without bond on the parole violation.
