Goldsboro police announced today the creation of a 24-hour hotline as they are still asking the community for help in finding Kennedy Fitzgerald McLaurin Jr., the 16-year-old Goldsboro High School student who has been missing since Sunday afternoon.
Police also announced today that they are looking for a late model, 1990s, four-door Oldsmobile with bluish/gray faded paint -- the car believed to have been used when McLaurin was allegedly abducted by three or four black men, possibly along Bain Street in the Woodcrest Housing Community.
McLaurin, who is described as 5-foot, 9-inches, 135 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, was reported missing by his mother on Monday. He is a resident of 1901 Rose Street, and was last seen sometime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday. The Amber Alert was issued at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
In addition to the hotline, (919) 580-4243, people can call Crime Stoppers at (919) 735-2255 or police dispatch at (919) 705-6572. Texts can also be sent to Crime Stoppers at (919) 222-4230.
