The 35th annual Wayne County Fire Princess Pageant will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre on Center Street in downtown Goldsboro. At center, in the pink, is April Tucker, the 2008 Fire Princess, who will crown this year's winner. The contestants for this year's title are, from left, Skyler Parks, Indian Springs -- Spring Creek HS; Miranda Aycock, Nahunta -- Charles B. Aycock HS; Mary Raven Bennett, Seven Springs -- Spring Creek HS; Krista Smith, Belfast -- Wayne Early Middle College HS; Brittany Jackson, Polly Watson -- Charles B. Aycock HS; Kesley Fleming, Pikeville-Pleasant Grove -- Charles B. Aycock HS; Kelsey Rogers, Arrington -- Spring Creek HS; Kasey Phillips, Grantham -- Rosewood HS; Dana Kelman, Elroy -- Spring Creek HS; Sara Boltinhouse, New Hope -- Spring Creek HS; Candice Peele, Saulston -- Charles B.
