Picking collards: Is an early winter on the way?

Bobbie Jean Swinson of Dudley was out early Friday morning cutting a mess of fresh collards. People in the area woke up that day to a light frost on the ground. The temperature dipped down around 35 degrees Monday night. Forecasters are calling for the area's first freeze warning tonight.
