Smith-Bryan
Sydney Lauren Smith of Raleigh and Byron Russell Bryan of Raleigh exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 3, 2015, at 5 p.m. at Culdee Presbyterian Church in West End, with Dr. Joseph Washburn officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mark Alan and Cheryl Medlin Smith of Pinehurst and the granddaughter of Carolyn Black Smith and the late Lexie Edward Smith Jr. of Pinehurst and Dorothy Riley Medlin and the late Bruce Alexander Medlin of Aberdeen.
The groom is the son of William Hardy and Ann Tolar Bryan of Mount Olive and the grandson of the late Byron Eugene and Doris Hughes Bryan of Mount Olive and Ann Scott Tolar and the late Harry Russell Tolar of Goldsboro.
The bride and groom are both graduates of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and are employed as certified public accountants.
A reception was held at The Country Club of North Carolina.
After a wedding trip to Saint Lucia, the couple resides in Raleigh.
