Ray-Cooper
Allison Deirdre Ray of Wilson and Blake Aaron Cooper of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 25, 2015, at 4 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church in Wilson.
The bride is the daughter of Andrew and Lorria Ray of Wilson and the granddaughter of Elaine Ray and the late Larry Ray of Sanford, Phil and Polly Farmer of Wilson and the late Rackley Boykin of Kenly.
The groom is the son of Robert Cooper Jr. of Selma and Joe Dan and Karen Waller of Mount Olive. The groom is the grandson of the late Robert Cooper Sr. of Goldsboro, Alice Newcomb Cooper of Goldsboro and Jean Collier and the late Edwin Collier of Goldsboro.
The bride was escorted by Andrew Ray, her father, and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore sheer organza over an ivory silky satin ballgown with lace appliques accented with Swarovski crystal sequins and silver beadwork.
A reception was held at Wilson Country Club.
The couple honeymooned to Maroma Beach, Mexico, and will reside in Angier, N.C.
