Jennifer Lynn Capps of Raleigh and Harry Lee Smith Jr. exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Friday, June 21, 2013, at six o’clock in the evening at Edenton Street United Methodist Church in Raleigh, with the Rev. Edward “Ned” Hill officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph Edgar Capps Sr. and Kay Woodall Capps of Angier and the granddaughter of the late James Edgar and Evie Babb Capps of Angier and Davis Bryant Woodall and the late Betty Sue Woodall of Angier.
The groom is the son of Harry Lee Smith Sr. and Jacqueline Payne Smith of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Arthur Lubert and Ruby Lee Smith of Goldsboro and the late Jefferson Paul Payne Sr. and Jessie Garrett Payne of Spartanburg, S.C.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Joseph Capps Sr.
Mrs. Alice Thomas served as matron of honor, while Ms. Kaitlyn Smith was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Jessica Capps, Mrs. Kristen Capps and Mrs. Claudia Summers.
Mr. Caleb Smith served as best man.
Groomsmen were Mr. Harry Smith Sr., Mr. Adam Capps, Mr. Joseph Capps Jr. and Mr. Rob Delisi.
Ms. Addison Capps and Ms. Tovi Capps were flower girls.
Mr. Camden Smith and Mr. Maddox Capps were ringbearers.
A reception was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Capps Sr. at the Grand Marquise Ballroom in Garner, N.C.
After the wedding, the couple took a seven-day cruise to the Caribbean. They now reside in Raleigh, N.C.
