Hyland-Hall
Jennifer Renee Hyland of Goldsboro and Adam Troy Hall of Prentiss, Miss., exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 29, 2012 at 5 p.m. at Walnut Creek Country Club, with Pastor Larry Turlington officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Michael Kevin and Evelyn Beckett Hyland of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Edward and Theresa Hyland of Reading, Pa., and the late Katherine Beckett of Culloden, W.Va.
She is a graduate of Rosewood High School and a graduate of Johnston Community College in cosmetology. She is employed as a hairstylist at Legends Hair and Nail Salon.
The groom is the son of James Troy of Pinola, Miss., and Joyce Rogers Hall of Prentiss, the stepson of Connie Davis Hall and the grandson of the late James Earl and Jean Hall of New Hebron, Miss., Jimmy Rogers and the late Doris Rogers of Prentiss.
He is a graduate of Prentiss Christian High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He is employed as an air traffic control specialist at the Federal Aviation Administration.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a formal organza white drop-waist gown with a strapless sweetheart neckline. The fitted bodice was embelished with beading and pearls. It featured a corset back with a trumpet skirt adorned with eye-catching handkerchiefed style organza layers with a semi-cathedral train. She wore a vintage-inspired flower clip with freshwater pearls in her hair. She carried a hand-tied bouquet wrapped in white ribbon with variegated orange and yellow lilies, hot pink miniature calla lilies and stephanotis with bear grass loops.
Melissa Kreger served as matron of honor, while Julia Peacock was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Stephanie Vicars, Brooke Lupo and Kimberly McNally.
Troy Hall, father of groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Geoff Davis, Branden Roth, Michael Willard and John Peoples.
Ushers were Michael Hyland, Adam Bush and Bradley Kreger.
Mallory Bush and Teagan Willard were flower girls.
Cole Alford, son of the bride, was ringbearer.
Bryce Alford, daughter of the bride, was the miniature bride.
Shari Belk directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Madison Kreger and Kaylah Vicars, who also distributed programs.
John Warren was the hairstylist for the bridal party. Maria LaDue was the makeup artist for the bridal party. Michael Best was the DJ.
The bride’s parents held a dinner and dance reception at the Walnut Creek Country Club.
After a wedding trip to Nassau, Bahamas, the couple resides in Goldsboro.
The groom’s father and stepmother hosted a dinner at the Village Steak House Sept. 28.
Events held before the wedding included a wedding shower in New Hebron, Miss., June 9 hosted by Troy and Connie Hall, father and stepmother of the groom; a wedding shower hosted by Mike and Evelyn Hyland, parents of the bride, and Carolyn Hall, Julia Peacock, Melissa Kreger, Stephanie Vicars, Brooke Lupo and Kimberly McNally, friends of the bride, at Stoney Creek Church Aug. 11; a bachelor weekend in Nashville, Tenn., Aug. 3-5; and a bachelorette weekend in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Sept. 7-9 hosted by Julia Peacock.
