Melissa Knight of Goldsboro and Daniel Kenner of Lansing, Kan., exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 23, 2012, at 4:30 p.m. at the Victorian Veranda Country Inn in Lawrence, Kan., with Robert Phillips officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Robby Knight of Burlington and Mike and Hui Son Moore of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Dixie Wheeler of Boswell, Okla.

She is a 2003 graduate of Wayne Country Day. She served in the United States Air Force, and is a graduate of the University of Kansas Medical Center, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health information management. She is anticipated to graduate this winter with her master’s degree in health services administration this winter, also at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Currently she is employed as a functional analyst with Saint Luke’s Health System.

The groom is the son of Mike Kenner of Topeka, Kan., and Pam King of Lansing, Kan., and the grandson of Cleatus Kenner of Topeka, Kan., and Ken and Wilma Upchurch of Cabot, Ark.

He is a 2004 graduate of Lansing High School in Lansing, Kan. He served in the United States Air Force, and is a graduate from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Education degree in athletic training. Currently he pursuing a master’s degree in health informatics through the University of Kansas Medical Center.

The bride was escorted by her father, Robby Knight, and given in marriage by him.

Mike Moore, also present, provided the blessing of the marriage.

Her sister, Kim Knight of Wilmington, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Auld, Lindsey Piper and Kari Radovich.

Brian Kern of Lansing, Kans., friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Kevin Cook, Landon Saunders and Carey Walker.

Ushers were Ryan Radovich and Travis Sage.

Sydney Smith, cousin of the groom, served as the flower girl. Stacey Smith, cousin of the groom, served as the ringbearer.

Stacy Cook served as the greeter and attendant. Hair and makeup was provided by Julianna Norris, friend of the bride.

Photography was provided by October Dawn Photography, cousin of the groom.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the couple the night before on the Cowboy Patio at the Victorian Veranda Country Inn.

The reception dinner was hosted by the couple’s parents the within the barn at the Victorian Veranda Country Inn.

The couple is now residing in Overland Park, Kan.
