Clarkson-Platz
Caroline Nada Clarkson of Asheville and Justin Platz of Asheville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 13, 2012, in Hot Springs, with Jacob Nardi officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Charlene Clarkson of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Kenneth and Nada Clarkson of Goldsboro, Thelma and Julius Bee of Whiting, N.J,. and the late Norman L. Dant of Laurel, Ind.
She is a native of Goldsboro and went to Eastern Wayne High School. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
The groom is the son of Joe and Angela Platz of Kirksville, Mo., and the grandson of Reba Platz of Kirksville, Mo., and Doug and Donna Morton of Kirksville.
He is a native of Kirksville, Mo. He attended Kirksville High School. He is a graduate of AB Tech.
The bride was escorted by her father, Richard Clarkson, and given in marriage by her parents, Richard and Charlene Clarkson.
Merlin Platz was ringbearer.
