Mohr - Sparks
Lisa Sue Sparks of Kernersville and Mark Ralph Mohr of Kernersville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 3 at 1:30 p.m. at Castle McCulloch in Jamestown, with pastor Mike Owens officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Louis Edward Sparks and Pyong Sparks of Goldsboro.
She is a 2004 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. She is employed as a national sales assistant at CW Television Network.
The groom is the son of Thomas Charles and Cheryl Lynne Mohr of Randolph, N.Y.
He is a 2001 graduate of Frewsburg High School. He is employed as an IT/engineer at CW Television Network.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a white satin pick-up gown with a beaded lace peek-a-boo neckline.
Her headpiece and veil were detailed with pearls and Swarovski crystals.
Erika Hill was her friend’s matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Cindy Piper Holbeck and Sherryl Lynn Evans, friends of the bride.
Scott Mohr was his brother’s best man.
Groomsmen were Tim Brown, cousin of the groom, and John Thompson, friend of the couple.
Ushers were Louis Sparks Jr., brother of the bride, and Chris Balash, friend of the couple.
Faye Colin directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Erin Sparks.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Castle McCulloch’s Crystal Garden.
After their wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Kernersville.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Villa Rosa Italian Restaurant in Greensboro.
