Walker - Davis
Katherine Ann Davis and Matthew Ryan Walker exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony March 12 at 3 p.m. at Hinnant Vineyard in Pine Level, with Maureen Bennett officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Richard Alan Davis and the late Lorraine P. Davis of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Agnes Pender Hart, the late Raymond D. Hart and the late Horace and Nola W. Peele of Goldsboro.
She is a 2004 graduate of Rosewood High School. She is employed as a phlebotomist at Eastern Medical Associates.
The groom is the son of Billy Ray and Judy H. Walker of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Rudolph and Josephine Walker of Goldsboro and the late Lester of Wilson and Edith Hall of Fremont.
He is a 2002 graduate of Rosewood High School and Wayne Community College with an associate degree. He is employed as manager at McCall’s Barbecue and Seafood.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.
She carried fuchsia and white calla lilies with fuchsia ribbon.
Karen Davis, sister, and Cassie Bennett were maids of honor.
Bridesmaids were Briane Hall, Amber Sharek and Liz Perkins.
Warren Dudley was the best man.
Groomsmen were Jamie Scott, Dave Ratliff, Scotty Boyette and Dusty Wagner.
Galeb Hardison was the usher.
Jody Wiggins was flower girl. Colin Hardison was ringbearer.
Betsy Outlaw directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Kim Hardison.
A program of wedding music was provided by Glenn Outlaw, deejay.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Hinnant Vineyard. Lynne Pearce cut the wedding cake. Candace Powell poured punch.
The couple will reside in Goldsboro.
Events held before the wedding included a bachelorette trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., and a bachelor trip to Atlantic City, N.J.
A rehearsal dinner was held at McCall’s Barbecue and Seafood in Clayton.
