Bryant - Hill
Kellan Francis Hill and Jason Corey Bryant exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 6 at 5 p.m. at Westminster United Methodist Church in Kinston, with the Rev. Haywood Smith officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Craig and Gina Hill of Kinston and the granddaughter of Donnie Hill, the late Edward Earl Hill and Ed and Kay Avery of Kinston.
She is a graduate of Kinston High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree. She is employed as a teacher with Lenoir County Schools.
The groom is the son of Nick and Pam Bryant of Kinston and the grandson of the late Billy and Jean Bryant and Wilfred and Jessie Lindley of Goldsboro.
He is a graduate of North Lenoir High School and Lenoir Community College with an associate’s degree. He is employed as a sales representative with Coastal Wholesale.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a formal gown of ivory sheer organza over silky satin featuring a strapless sweetheart neckline. It was adorned with lace appliqués accented with Swarovski crystals, crystal sequins and silver beadwork. Satin buttons aligned the back closure that lead to the full ball-gown and extended to a cathedral train.
Kristin Hill was her sister’s maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Anjanette Council, Donna Parker, Hope Moore and Amanda Streblow.
Nick Bryant was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Will Bryant, Oscar Casas, Brad Lynch, Jacob Dickinson and Brandon Harrison.
Ushers were Derek Crumpler, Adam Crumpler and Stephen Avery.
Skylar Harrison was flower girl. Matthew Hill and Crews Whaley were ringbearers.
Ann Robinson directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Jana Hill. Ashlyn Hill and Megan Monroe distributed the programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Chelsea Bracsh, vocalist, and Weil Sawyer, organist.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at Select Foods in Kinston.
After their wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Kinston.
Events held before the wedding included an engagement party Aug. 14 at Falling Creek Country Club hosted by couple’s families; a gift card shower Sept. 11 at the Bryant home in Kinston hosted by Dawn Crumpler, Frances Crumpler, Jenny Patterson and Jessie Lindley; a bachelorette weekend and lingerie shower Sept. 17 through 19 in Carolina Beach hosted by friends of bride; a bachelor weekend Sept. 18 through 20 in Charlotte hosted by friends of groom; a miscellaneous shower Sept. 26 at the Whaley home in Kinston hosted by Michelle Cantu, Mary Margaret Howard, Brenda Crews and Mary Whaley; a Pampered Chef shower Oct. 16 at the Monroe home in Grifton hosted by the bride’s family; a gizmos and gadgets shower Oct. 17 at the Fillipeli home in Kinston hosted by family friends; and a stock-the-bar party Oct. 23 at the Terry home in Kinston hosted by Chad and Mary Beth Terry and Brad and Sarah Lynch.
Family and friends of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at House of Wang Restaurant in Kinston.
