Holly Glenn Price of Camden and Christopher Scott Quinn of Camden exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 4 at 5:30 p.m. at Crystal Coast Country Club in Atlantic Beach, with Charlie Curtis officiating.
The bride is the daughter of C.B. Price Jr. of Kure Beach and Hilda Price Farmer of Goldsboro, the stepdaughter of Ginger Price of Kure Beach and the granddaughter of the late Cullen and Mary Price of Mount Olive and the late Haywood and Edna Powell of Newton Grove.
She graduated from Wayne Community College with an associate degree in early childhood education and attends East Carolina University, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in child development and a master’s degree in Spanish. She is employed at Walmart in Elizabeth City as a shift manager.
The groom is the son of Curtis and Rita Quinn of Greenville and the grandson of Grace Quinn and the late Alton Quinn of Pink Hill and the late Thomas and Nellie Moore of Kinston.
He is employed as a police officer with Elizabeth City Police Department.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a white satin A-line gown with a side-draped bodice and an asymmetrical skirt.
Her handmade headpiece was accented with white iridescent beads and imported ostrich feathers.
The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of variegated hydrangeas, pink blush roses and green pom pom flowers accented with pitosporum.
Tina Kornegay was matron of honor.
Curtis Quinn was his son’s best man.
Presiding at the register were Holden and Courtney Spain, nephew and niece of the groom.
Tina Kornegay directed the wedding.
A program of wedding music was provided by Ernest Silver of Greenville, vocalist.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at Crystal Coast Country Club.
After their wedding trip to Positano and Naples, Italy, the couple will reside in Camden.
Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower Aug. 15 at the home of Melissa Spain, sister of the groom; an evening boat cruise Aug. 21 aboard the O’Lucky Me of Morehead City hosted by Melissa Spain, sister of the groom, and Tina Kornegay; and a lingerie shower Aug. 21 hosted by friends and family of the bride.
A rehearsal dinner was held Sept. 3 at the Channel Marker in Atlantic Beach.
