Edwards - Hall
GREENVILLE — Jennifer Michelle Hall of Greenville and James Clinton Edwards of Greenville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 26 at 2 p.m. at Yankee Hall Plantation, with the Rev. Steward Smith officiating.
The bride is the daughter of W. Ray Hall and Jerry and Linda Williams Wilkins of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Sallie Hall of Fremont, the late Wilbert Hall and Edward and Marjorie Williams of Pikeville and Roy and Louise Wilkins.
She graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 2001 and East Carolina University in 2007 with a bachelor’s in elementary education. She is employed as first-grade teacher at Belvoir Elementary.
The groom is the son of Bronnie and Rita Edwards of Goldsboro and Grant and Jane Ellen Miller Ingram of Havelock and the grandson of the late O.J. Edwards and Rachel Miller of Mount Pleasant and the late Paul Clinton Miller.
He graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 2000. He is employed as a floor technician at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
The bride was escorted by Jerry Wilkins and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a white satin a-line ballgown with a chiffon split front, a chapel train and a sweetheart neckline accented with a satin champagne-colored sash adorned with beading
Her headpiece was a two-tier scalloped-edged veil accented with beading and crystal flowers.
Brooke Griffin was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Ashley Parker Walker, Hope Dail and Ellen Arner.
Jonathan Benton was best man.
Groomsmen were Glenn Brock Jr., Stephen McCullough and Chris Pinto.
Honorary bridesmaids were Summer Blackman and Savannah Blackman.
Barbara Ward directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Summer Blackman. Savannah Blackman distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Carolina Chamber Players.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held in the ballroom at Yankee Hall Plantation.
After their wedding trip to Emerald Isle, the couple will reside in Greenville.
Events held before the wedding included a miscellaneous bridal shower April 10 at First Christian Church hosted by Jana Blackman, Joanie Hill, Pam Lewis, and Judy Hudson; a bridal shower May 13 hosted by co-workers at Belvoir elementary; and an engagement party May 15 at the Steak Barn hosted by Jane Ellen and Grant Ingram.
