Smith - Tucker
GREENSBORO — Meagan Denise Tucker of Greensboro and Troy Issac Smith exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 26 at 2 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with Howard Sherrill officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Gary Dean Tucker of Kernersville and Rhonda Brown Prior of Summerfield and the granddaughter of Barbara Parrish Tucker and the late Grady Augusta Tucker of Greensboro and Carl David and Mary Sands Brown of Stokesdale.
She is employed as a teacher at Kiser Middle School.
The groom is the son of Steven Allen and JoAnn Twyman Smith of Goldsboro and the grandson of Norman Noah Smith and the late Shirley Kline Smith of Goldsboro and the late Joseph Gordon and Mildred Tallman Twyman of Jacksonville.
He is employed as a teacher and football and wrestling coach at High Point Central High School.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Cassandra Lynn Loeffler was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Heather Kale, Morgan Loeffler, Jessica Watts, Lauren Watts and Lindsey Schopfel.
Steven Allen Smith was best man.
Groomsmen were Joshua Smith, Bryan Cook, Nick Robbins, James Cox Jr. and Daniel Barrow Jr.
Ushers were William Lothian, David Hayes Jr. and Micheal Render.
Honorary bridesmaids were Jamie Brill Smith and Sharon Anne Reilly.
Honorary groomsmen were Joshua Vogelbach and Danny Langston Jr.
Carrie Anne and Cameron Grace Brown were flower girls. Alex Cook was ringbearer.
Judy Phelps directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were David and Kimberly Younts.
A program of wedding music was provided by James Jones, organist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Cardinal Country Club.
After their wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Greensboro.
