Brogden-Martin
Ashley Nichole Martin and Robert Chad Brogden exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 17 at 3 p.m. outside First Pentecostal Holiness Church by the fountain, with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ransom Wayne Martin of Princeton and Marlene Hare Martin of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Ranson Arthur Martin and Grace Whaley Martin and the late Russell and Sylvia Hare of Princeton.
The groom is the son of Jerry and Carol Futrell and the late James Robert Brogden Jr. of Dudley and the grandson of Katie Goff and the late James Robert Brogden Sr. of Dudley and Lola Caps, the late Emmett Raymond Capps and Bobby and Edith Futrell of Goldsboro.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Lorenda Brogden was matron of honor.
Jamie Whitley was the bridesmaid.
Robert Darden was the best man.
Anthony Brogden was the groomsman.
Lydia Mills, aunt of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Kayla Ann Whitley and Jenny Lynn Mills, cousins of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Parker’s Barbecue in Wilson.
