Nye - Minton
ELKIN — Rita Hatch Minton and William P. Nye exchanged vows in a private ceremony April 10 at their home, with the Rev. Bernard Leavitt, uncle of the groom, officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Fanny H. Hatch and the late Walter S. Hatch of Goldsboro.
She is a graduate of East Carolina University. She is employed as an art instructor at Elkin High School.
The groom attended Castleton College in Vermont. He is retired from the automotive parts industry.
