Miller - Henn
PIKEVILLE — Lelia Nicole Henn of Goldsboro and William Dale Miller exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church, with pastor Ray Moore officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jayeson and Marcy Henn of Pikeville and the granddaughter of Ron and McRae Henn of Rosewood, Jim and Lida Fultz of Pikeville, Goldie Lundquist, the late Emery Lundquist and Clifton and Annie Mae Howell
The groom is the son of Robert and Laura Getz of Goldsboro and Dale Miller of Kinston and the grandson of William and Ellen Therrell of Dudley, Patrick and Georgia Miller of New Bern, Robert and Margy Getz of White Haven, Pa., and the late Dorothy Miller.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a formal gown of ivory Italian satin with rum and gold tones. The strapless design featured a two-toned bodice enhanced with gold filigree embroidery accented with crystal sequin and bugle beading. The fitted bodice extended into a full gathered ball skirt bordered by medallions of gold embroidery and rum-toned satin. The floor-length ballgown was bordered by medallions of gold embroidery and rum-toned satin with scrolling encircling the length of the extended chapel train.
The bride carried a bouquet of white and red roses.
Shyanne Barnes was her friend’s maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Megan Henn, sister of the bride, and Amanda Holloway, friend of the bride.
Curtis Price was his friend’s best man.
Groomsmen were David Russell, brother of the groom, and Jonathan Jones, friend of the groom.
Addie Shirley, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Jackson Miller, brother of the groom, was ringbearer.
Linda Henn, aunt of the bride, directed the wedding.
A program of wedding music was provided by William Therrell, grandfather of the groom, and Cliff Greenup, uncle of the bride, vocalists.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Pikeville Community Center.
Events held before the wedding including a bridal shower in November hosted by McRae Henn, grandmother of the bride.
