Radford-Pope
OCEAN ISLE BEACH — Karen Marie Pope and David Alan Radford of Dudley exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 18 at 1 p.m. at Ocean Isle Inn, with the Rev. Lamar Boulware officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Gerald and Lucy Pope of Dudley and the granddaughter of the late Cleon Pope and Helen Pope of Lucama and William Earl and Vivian Capps of Goldsboro.
She is a 2002 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. She is employed as a claims technician at Sentry Insurance.
The groom is the son of Thurman and Reita Radford of Goldsboro and Ann Whaley and Andy Overman of Dudley and the grandson of Thurman and Elizabeth Radford of Goldsboro and Frances Ham and the late Johnny Ham of Dudley.
He is a 2000 graduate of Southern Wayne High School. He is employed as a supervisor with Freedom Electric.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Megan Denning, niece of the bride, was the bridesmaid.
Chris Strickland was best man.
Gracyn Hart, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Logan Hart, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.
After their wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple will reside in Dudley.
