Jarman - Stallings
MAGGIE VALLEY — Winifred Michelle Stallings of Wilmington and Ernest W. Jarman III of Wilmington exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 13 at 3 p.m. at Timberwolf Creek Inn at Brigadoon Cove, with the Rev. Stewart Taylor officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jimmy and Kay Stallings of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Kathleen Hinson and the late James Hinson of Fremont, Pat Coley and the late Hugh Coley of Stantonsburg and the late Theron Stallings of Goldsboro.
She graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 2002 and Pitt Community College in 2006 with an associate degree in nuclear medicine. She is employed as a nuclear medicine technologist at Hanover Medical Specialist and a certified nursing assistant at Pacifica Senior Living.
The groom is the son of Ernest W. Jarman Jr. of Leland and Wendy and Stewart Taylor of Rocky Point and the grandson of Anne Millis of Wilmington.
He graduated from Pender High School. He is employed as a machine operator at MeadWest Vaco in Wilmington.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a white, strapless chiffon side-drape gown with beaded lace trim.
Her headpiece was a mantilla-style white cathedral-length veil trimmed in lace and beads.
The bride carried a bouquet of pick roses, daises and green ivory held together with a white ribbon.
Amy Lancaster was matron of honor.
Lawrence Sawyer was best man.
Lynley Lancaster was flower girl.
Patricia Eubanks, aunt of the bride, directed the wedding. Katlyn Crunkleton, friend of the bride, distributed popout streamers.
A program of wedding music was provided by the bride, vocalist, and Richard Crunkleton, trumpeter.
Following the ceremony, a dance reception was held at Maggie Valley Inn. Agatha Williams and Lori Lancaster, aunts of the bride, cut the wedding cake. Susan Coley and Lisa Coley, aunts of the bride, poured punch.
After their wedding trip to Maggie Valley, the couple will reside in Wilmington.
Events held before the wedding included a miscellaneous shower April 5 at United in Christ hosted by the couple’s family and friends; a pantry shower May 2 at the home of Garey and Amy Lancaster, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, hosted by the Lancaster’s; and a miscellaneous shower May 16 hosted by Gateway Church ladies ministries of Wilmington.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Arf’s Restaurant in Maggie Valley.
