GRANTHAM — Krystal Faith Conner of Mount Olive and Brian Melvin Godwin of Mount Olive exchanged vows in a single-ring ceremony Aug. 1 at 1 p.m. at the home of Lisa and Gurney Lane, with Jay Smiley officiating.
The bride is the daughter of William Alex and Sandra Marie Conner of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Robert Rankin and the late Hilda Bland of Goldsboro and Alfred Ross and Edith Ross of Pikeville.
The groom is the son of Adam Troy and Ethel Diane Caulder of Pikeville and the grandson of Helen Godwin and the late Ransom Godwin of Belfast and Herman and Mary Coker of Pikeville.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.
She wore a black and white dress.
Her headpiece was a black pearl tiara.
The bride carried red and white roses.
Melisa Davis was maid of honor.
Neil Brack was best man.
Larisa Conner was flower girl. Kaden Cox was ringbearer.
Melissa Anderson and Sandra Conner directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributed programs was Jessica Anderson.
The couple resides in Grantham.
