OCEAN ISLE BEACH — Johanna Boberg of Raleigh and Wade Durham III of Raleigh exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 4 at 4 p.m. at the Isle Restaurant Beachfront, with the Rev. Penelope Morningstar officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Håkan and Gun-Britt Boberg of Nyköping, Sweden, and the granddaughter of the late Gunnar Nyberg of Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, and Nyköping, the late Gerd Nyberg of Örnsköldsvik and the late Anton and Beda Boberg of Nyköping.

She is employed as a musician/vocal instructor.

The groom is the son of Wade Jr. and Geraldine J. Durham of Mount Olive and the grandson of the late Bunn and Irene George Jacobs of Hallsboro and the late Wade Sr. and Maude Herring Durham of Mount Olive.

He is employed as a musician.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.

She sore a white halterneck dress with embroidery, sequins and a train.

Her headpiece was a white daisy in her hair.

The bride carried red roses, yellow sunflowers and blue miniature daisies.

Ella Boberg and Kaya Harvey were junior bridesmaids.

Nile Harvey and Elias Boberg were ushers.

April Dee-Dee Daley of Los Angeles, Calif., directed the wedding.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Isle Restaurant.

After their wedding trip, the couple will reside in Raleigh.

A rehearsal dinner was held at the beach home of Joseph and Cynthia Durham in Ocean Isle.
